Kimberly A. Wood, 54, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully, Wednesday morning, December 7, 2016. She was born February 25, 1962 in Belvidere, IL, daughter of Gerald L. and Belva I. (Stokes) Hansen. Kimberly married Troy Wood in 1998, he preceded her in death in 2014. She was employed as a head housekeeper in Las Vegas, NV. Kim loved arts and crafts, cooking, reading, playing Farmville, and collecting horses and wolves.

Kim is loved and missed by her parents, daughter, Miranda Wood; grandchildren, Crysta, Nurri, and Gabriella; siblings, Angie (Robert) Varble and James (Tammy) Hansen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Troy and son, P.J. Evens.
