Kim D. Emanuel, 56, of Belvidere, died Monday, December 26, 2011 in his home, following a short illness, surrounded by his family. Born July 4, 1955 in Belvidere, son of Elmer and Carol (Dittbenner) Emanuel. He was loved and will be missed by all that knew him. Survivors include his wife Nancy (Schmeling) Emanuel of Belvidere, daughter Jennifer (Tony) Garcia, granddaughters Olivia, Selena, and Sophia all of Loves Park, mother Carol, four brothers and 5 sisters. Predeceased by his father Elmer, brother Todd, nephew Brian and mother-in-law Janet Schmeling.
