Kenneth A. Reuter, 78, of Belvidere, IL, formerly of Elgin, IL, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 in Northwoods Care Centre in Belvidere, IL. Kenneth was born June 22, 1936 in Elgin, IL, son of Irving and Dorothy (Fox) Reuter. He married Dorothy "Dot" Godfrey on June 6, 1958 in Valley View, IL. Kenneth was employed by Waste Management as a truck driver, retiring from there. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he served as an Elder and attended many bible classes. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and watching westerns. He also was an avid reader.

Kenneth is loved and will be missed by his children, Ronald (Rhonda) Reuter, Jesse (Debra) Reuter, Kathy (Richard) Glefke, Jean (Bill) Samples, Doug (Pam) Schrieber; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Renee Smith. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy; infant son, Kevin; siblings, Richard Reuter, Sherry Senior, John Reuter.

Memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1045 E. Belvidere Road, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Rev. Allan Buss officiating.
