Poplar Grove, ILKenneth J. Neubert, 59 of Poplar Grove, IL died Friday, Oct 16, 2009 in Swedish American-Belvidere after a sudden illness. Kenneth was born November 15, 1949 in Luverne, Minnesota, the son of Wayne M. and June (Whitfield) Neubert. He married Myrna Figuerres on May 27, 1972 in the Philippines. Kenneth was the maintenance manager at Andes Candies and a stock room coordinator at Green Giant. He also worked for Rockford Power Train and Farm and Fleet. He thoroughly enjoyed playing golf, and was a member of several golf leagues. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Timber Pointe Golf Club. Survivors include his wife, Myrna; children, Jennifer (Adam) Hawley of Kalamazoo, MI and Jason (Lori) of Rockford; his mother June of Belvidere; brothers, Daniel (Linda) of Byron, Randall of Rockford, Steven (Lisa) of Surprise, AZ ; sister, Janis of Belvidere and numerous nieces and nephews. Kenneth is predeceased by his father, Wayne and brother, Gary.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be given in care of the family for a bench in memory of Ken at Timber Pointe.
