Kenneth Dean Luckey, 87, of Cherry Valley, IL passed away June 28, 2018 in his home peacefully. Born December 5, 1930 in Ashton, IL the son of Roland "RG" and Violet (McCasslin) Luckey. He married Joan Sollis on November 8, 1995. Kenneth was a farmer at heart, during his life he worked for Irene Elevator, Kent Feed, Sandal Farm Service, Doc Josten, Green Giant, Joe Coolings Sod Farm and finally owned his own company together with his wife Joan, J & K Sod Blades. Kenneth was passionate about being outside, woodworking, gardening, and loved all things John Deer.

He is loved and missed by his wife Joan; children, Gerald (Michelle) Luckey, Sandra Foss, Karen (Kevin) Hefton, Ronald (Laurie) Luckey, Lisa (Edward) Bracken, Gregory (Paula) Sellers, Roger (Donna) Sellers, Beverly (Wayne) Lundeen, Becky (Matt) Emigholz. 26 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Marie in 1994; parents; sisters, Marylin and infant sister; brother Robert and great-grandson Justin.

Funeral service will be held at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere, IL on Tuesday July 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday July 3, 2018 from 12:00-2:00p.m. Burial in Belvidere Cemetery.
