Kenneth Alden Johnson, 69, of Poplar Grove, passed away on November 18, 2024, and went to be with the Lord. He was born on November 22, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois, to Doris (Bird) and John Johnson.

Kenneth attended North Boone High School and later pursued higher education at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, where he earned his associate's degree. His professional career was primarily in computer engineering, with many years spent at Intel. Kenneth's mechanical expertise extended far beyond his work at Intel—he was a skilled designer of motherboards, built his own computer, and took pleasure in working on and maintaining his beloved Camaro.

Outside of his career, Kenneth was known for his selflessness and generosity, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. His curiosity and thirst for knowledge were evident in his love for reading and exploring new ideas. Kenneth had a deep appreciation for music, particularly from the 1960s and 70s, and had a special affection for his pet cats. However, above all, he cherished his family and close friends.

Kenneth's memory will be treasured by all who knew him. His kindness, intellect, and love for those around him will leave a lasting impact on everyone whose life he touched.

Kenneth is survived by his loving family and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Funeral services are private to family with burial at Belvidere Cemetery.
