Kenneth P. Barnes, Jr., 55, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019 in Rockford, Illinois. He was born on September 26, 1963 in Forest City, Arkansas to Kenneth and Ruth (Kelso) Barnes. He married his loving wife, Linda on August 7, 1992 in Belvidere, Illinois. Kenneth faithfully served our country in the United States Army. He was a truck driver for Ryder for many years. Kenneth loved spending time with his friends and family, was an avid fisherman, and loved to sit by the campfire.

Kenneth will be dearly missed by his wife, Linda; his parents, Kenneth and Ruth; his brothers, Dewey Wayne (Kim) Barnes, and Edwards (Laurie) Barnes; his nieces and nephews, Lesa Sewick of Texas, Shana Sewick of Galesburg, IL, Steven Sewick of Cherry Valley, IL, Crystal Barnes of Belvidere, IL, Randy Barnes of Wisconsin, and Wayne Romans.

A memorial gathering will be held at 11:00 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL, 61008.
