Kay F. Blazer, 66, of Capron, died Saturday, April 3, 2010 in her home following a sudden illness. She was born August 25, 1943 in Harvard, Illinois; the daughter of Howard and Gladys (Rhodes) Blazer. Kay graduated from Marengo High School. She was employed at Aubrey Manufacturing in Union, Illinois for over 30 years. She was an active member of Solid Rock Church, Harvard, Illinois. Kay enjoyed volunteering at Maple Crest Nursing Home and bowling. She is survived by eight siblings, Gene Blazer, Marengo; Bill (Linda) Blazer, Capron; Ron (Christine) Blazer Rockford; Terry Blazer, Rockford; Tim (Nancy) Blazer, Garden Prairie; Rick Blazer, Metropolis, Illinois; Karen Blazer, Nevar, Florida; and Denny Blazer, Belvidere; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Blazer, Janesville, Wisconsin; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, a sister, Gladys Larkin and brother, Howard Blazer.
