Kathy Ann Lee, 45, of Belvidere, Illinois, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026. She was born on February 18, 1981, to Nancy A. Lee. Kathy was a graduate of Belvidere High School, class of 1999.

She loved her niece and nephews and treasured the time she spent with family and friends. Kathy was the kind of person who would drop whatever she was doing if you needed help. She was kind and generous to the people she loved.

Kathy loved music. There was a song for every mood. She was an avid reader who enjoyed getting lost in a good book. Kathy had a fascination with the unknown and the universe and collected a variety of alien-themed items. She also enjoyed building her collections of CDs and movies. A loyal fan of the Chicago White Sox, Kathy enjoyed following the team and cheering them on each season.

Kathy is survived by her sister, Kary Lee; her nephews, Nathan, Jason, Jacob, and Logan Gagliani; her niece, Kayla Gagliani; her aunts and uncles, Cheryl Walker (godmother), Larry (Pam) Lee, and Sally (Dave) Cline; many cousins; and her special friend, Ryan Smith.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Lee, and her godfather, Earl “Woody” Walker.

A memorial service for Kathy will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd at 5pm at Anderson Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 4 until the time of the service.
