Kathleen Schultz, 69, of Belvidere, IL, died suddenly Thursday morning, May 7, 2015 in her home. Kathy was born September 5, 1945 in Chicago, IL, daughter of William and Helen (Bausich) Thurow. She graduated from North Boone High School, Class of 1964, she went on to attend the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater for 2 years. Kathy married Darrell Schultz on August 17, 1967 in Cherry Valley, IL. Kathy was employed by the United States Postal Service as a rural mail carrier. Kathy had a huge passion for pure bred Arabian horses. She enjoyed painting, reading fantasy and romance novels, and knitting afghans. Her biggest accomplishment was her family.

She is loved and will be missed by her husband, Darrell; sons, Anthony C. Schultz, Matthew W. (Robin Dickinson) Schultz; sister, Linda Parsons; grandchildren, Hayley Borrett, Aurora Schultz. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Bill Thurow.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Rev. Tom Hay officiating. Visitation will take place from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
