Kathleen A. Denhof, 49, of Belvidere, died Monday, July 24, 2006 in her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 4, 1956 in Redwood City, California, the daughter of Thomas and Elaine (Nelson) Markham. She has lived in Belvidere for the last thirty years coming here from Michigan. She married Donald R. Denhof, Jr. in Muskegon, Michigan on November 29, 1974. She was employed as a third party administrator for insurance claims by Bensight Co. Rockford for four years. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed quilting and her grandchildren. Kathleen is survived by her husband, Donald R. Denhof, Jr. of Belvidere; four children, Jeffrey (Jolynn) Denhof, Belvidere; Jeremy (Dalynne) Denhof, Mundelein, Ill.; Julie (Gareth) Hustead and Jennifer Denhof, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; six grandchildren, Jessica Denhof; Jaden Denhof; Whitney Denhof; Ryan Denhof; Gavin Hustead Wyatt Hustead; her parents; two brothers, Steven (Vicki) Markham and Richard (Nicole) Markham; sister, Cheryl Thorpe. Preceded in death by grandson, Jeffrey Michael Denhof, Jr.
