Kathleen Patricia Blowney, 64, of Belvidere, Illinois passed away peacefully on December 8, 2016 in Rockford, Illinois.  She was born September 17,1952 in Lincoln, Nebraska, daughter of David Bud Kritsch and Carole Mulso Janisch. Kathleen attended and graduated from Prospect High School in Mt. Prospect, Illinois. She married her sweetheart, Patrick Blowney on September 7, 1988 in Marengo, Illinois. She was employed as a receptionist for 17 years at H&R Block in Marengo.

Kathleen loved her family and her grandchildren with all of her heart. She also loved cooking, crafting and music. She was a fantastic keyboard player.

Kathleen is loved and missed by her husband; her daughters, Dawn Blowney (Eric Mcvicar) and Caitlin Blowney; brother, Danny Kritsch; sisters, Leslie Berryman and Kelly Keating; and brother, Chuck Janisch; grandchildren, Addison and Emerson Mcvicar; and nephews, Brian and Bradley Berryman.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother; and her grandmother, Sophie Mulso.
