Kathaleen Becker, 74, of Belvidere, formerly of Round Lake, Illinois and Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away peacefully, Wednesday evening, March 1, 2017 at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford. Born June 19, 1942 in Sioux Falls, SD, daughter of the late Joseph and Vera (Jensen) O'Brien. Kathy was born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, graduating from Washington High School. She went on to serve in the United States Navy, where she was stationed at the Great Lakes Naval Base. On June 19, 1962, Kathy married the love of her life, Levi Becker at First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD, where she was a former member. She was a sales associate at Walmart for 20 years. She loved taking pictures, telling stories and reading, especially Stephen King books.

Kathaleen is loved and dearly missed by her husband of 55 years, Levi; children, Lori (Timothy, Sr.) Anger, Lisa Becker, Joseph Becker, and Michael (Jen) Becker; grandchildren, David Anger, Timothy Anger, Jr., Nichole Becker, Andrew Becker, Austin Becker, and Cody Becker; great-grandchildren, Ayden Simmons and Tate Simmons; brother, Pat O'Brien, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, David Moss.
