Irene, IllinoisKaren K. Lee, 59, of Irene, IL died early Thursday morning, November 6, 2008 in her home after a lingering illness. Karen was born September 23, 1949 in Irene, Illinois the daughter of Charles F. and Eunice (Vowels) Lee. Karen graduated from Hiawatha High School in 1967 and was a bookkeeper for Charles F. Lee and Sons since 1969.Survivors include her sisters, Clara Chilson of Irene, Sally (Ted) Baker of Faro, Yukon, Canada; brothers, Marvin "Gerry" (Carole) Lee of Irene, Myron "Mike" (Barbara) Lee of Irene, Barton "Bud" (Mary) Lee of Lakeside, CA, Curtis (Marie) Lee of New Auburn, WI, Derrol (Diane) Lee of LaMoille, IL, Carlin "Oscar" (Judy) Lee of Canon City, CO; numerous nieces and nephews.Karen is predeceased by her parents, and sister, Connie Lee.

A memorial will be established in her name.
