Karen M. Jahnke, 61, of Belvidere, died Monday, November 23, 2009 in Alden-Park Strathmoor Nursing Home following a short illness. She was born February 11, 1948 in Mattoon, Wisconsin, the daughter of Sylvester and Margaret (Nockerts) Maus. Karen married Gary A. Jahnke. in Bowler, Wisconsin on February 3, 1968. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and doll collecting. She is survived by her husband, a son Gary J. Jahnke, of Belvidere; two grandsons, and eleven brothers and sisters. Preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Julie in infancy, a sister and three brothers.
