Karen E. Buckley, 62, of Belvidere, died Friday, May 18, 2012 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born January 7, 1950 in Chicago, daughter of Clarence and Stephanie (Charkow) Kunes. Married Daniel Buckley on July 22, 1983 in Chicago Ridge. Member of St. James Church. Worked as a receptionist and a quality control inspector. She enjoyed, sewing, quilting, crocheting, bowling, reading and loved to garden and be in nature. Survivors include her husband Daniel, daughters Leslie (James) Hofer of CA, Michelle Albanese of AZ, Kelly Buckley of Dixon, son Robert Buckley of Belvidere, grandchildren Ashley, Zachary, Megan, and Gianna, brother Clarence Kunes. Predeceased by her parents and brother Frank Kunes.
