June D. Gillespie, 91, of Belvidere, died Sunday, October 28, 2007 in Northwoods Care Center following a lingering illness. She was born June 6, 1916 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Elmer and Isabelle (MacBoyle) Gartley. June has been a resident of Belvidere for five years, coming here from Wonder Lake, Ill. She married John M. Gillespie in Oak Park, Ill. on July 7, 1950. June was a member of the Episcopalian Faith and former member of the Women of the Moose. She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Harold) Parish; a son, John (Karen) Schueler; two step-sons, John and Harold Gillespie; 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Husband; two step-sons and a step-daughter.
