June Barr, 90, of Belvidere, IL died Sunday evening February 20, 2011 in Maple Crest Nursing Home after a brief illness. Ms. Barr was born in Belvidere, on December 4, 1920 the daughter of Fred and Nancy Luedtke. She married Eldon "Bud" Barr of Belvidere, IL and took pleasure in her many years of retail sales and has spent the last 5 years with her friends at Maple Crest. She was passionately involved at all levels of her family's endeavors in sports and took great pleasure in her friendly but competitive wagering with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.June is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Janet) Barr and Michael (Sharon Reynolds) Barr; brother, Robert (Vi) Luedtke; grand-daughter, Debbie (Mike) Clanin, grand-daughter in-law, Cindy Barr; nieces Pat (Art) Purvis, Sally Thorsen, Roxanne Larson; daughter in-law, Pat Barr and her great-grandchildren, Dalton, Benjamin, Delaney, Nathan and many friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, son, Butch and grandson, Tracy.The family acknowledges with a grateful heart the staff at Maple Crest and OSF St. Anthony Medical Center for the wonderful care they have provided.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her memory.
