Judy D. Pauley, 57, of Galveston, Ind. Formerly of Belvidere, departed her life on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo, Ind. following a short illness. Born July 8, 1948 in Prenter, West Virginia to Everett and Mable Lee Brown. She lived with her son in Galveston for the past two years, going there from Belvidere, Illinois. Judy worked in the Chassis Department for Daimler-Chrysler Company for 23 years retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Galveston Baptist Church; the American Legion Women's Auxiliary; and the U.A.W. Local 1268. She was a strong supporter for the American Cancer Society. In her spare time, she enjoyed Softball; spending time with her grandkids and sewing. She is survived two sons, David Wayne Pauley, Rockford; and Matthew Jay (Angie) Pauley, Galveston; grandchildren, Nicholas and Lucas Pauley, both of Rockford; Hayley Pauley; Ashley Ebert and Kaitlyn Ebert, all of Galveston; three brothers, Bob, Sonny and John Brown; several aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. Preceded in death, by parents, sister, Jane McCormick and brother, Bill Brown.
