Belvidere, IllinoisJudith M. "Pete" Peaslee, 61, of Belvidere, IL died Tuesday evening, November 4, 2008 in Alma Nelson-Debes in Rockford. Judith was born August 13, 1947 in Rockford the daughter of DeLoss A. and Dorothy Irene (Rooth) Pete. She married Dennis E. Peaslee on December 26, 2007 in Belvidere and worked as an insurance claim supervisor for many years; in her spare time she enjoyed many different types of crafts including sewing, painting and card making. She also was fond of flower gardening, music and was an avid reader. Judith is survived by her husband, Dennis; father, DeLoss Pete; stepchildren, Rhonda (Larry) Dobson of Cherry Valley, Dawn (Eric) Lutzow of Belvidere; step grandchildren, Jessica Dobson, Alex Dobson, Savanna Marsili, Madison Lutzow; sisters, Carol Ann (Jim) Henson and Gail Ruth Gallaway both of California; brothers Reginal A. Pete of Roscoe, Charles A. (Debra) Pete of Belvidere, Edward A. (Cindy) Pete of Rockford; special friend, Annie Hardesty. Judith is predeceased by her mother, Irene and brother, Michael Pete.

A memorial will be established and can be given in care of her family.
