IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judith June
Nation
April 25, 1944 – February 25, 2024
The Day You Left
With tears we saw you suffer,
As we watched you fade away,
Our hearts were almost broken,
As you fought so hard to stay,
We know you had to leave us,
But you never went alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day you left your home.
Judith June Nation was born on April 25, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Gloria and Herbert McNamer. She answered the Lord's call to her heavenly home on February 25, 2024, at her home in Belvidere, Il. Judy was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life, Gerald "Jerry" Nation on February 10, 1962, in Winona Minnesota. To this union they had three children, Michelle, Brian and Pamela.
Judy was a loving wife and mother, a great homemaker and was known for her wonderful desserts and Dumpling Soup. During her life, she enjoyed baking, reading/playing games on her Kindle and playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father and her brother Dale McNamer. She leaves behind to cherish her legacy: her loving husband: Jerry, three children: Michelle "Shelly" (Kevin) Greenhow of Eau Claire, WI, Brian (Cheryl) Nation of Jacksonville, FL, Pamela "Pam" (Rick) Kitsemble of Belvidere, IL, nine grandchildren: Brandon and Jeremy Greenhow, John and Michael Nation, Trea Turner, Rylee and Paige Kitsemble, Ryan Kennedy and Kyle Guagenti; nine great-grandchildren: Scarlette, Zephyr, Aro, Nova, Grayson, Damon, Jaxon, Jade and Axel; two brothers, Jim McNamer of Money Creek, Minnesota and Stanly McNamer of New Port Richy, FL.
To our loved ones, family and friends: The Nation family greatly appreciates the outpour of love, phone calls, emails and visits during this time. Thank you. At this time, there will be no Memorial Service for Judy. A Celebration of Life will be planned and scheduled at a later date.
