Judith Carole Lykowski, 83, of Belvidere, IL passed away on May 17, 2023 at her home with family by her side. She was born on March 19, 1940 in Chicago, IL. The daughter of Cora and George Newman. Judith was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was caring and loving and often wore a smile. Judith worked for many years as a phone operator for Illinois Bell Company. She enjoyed word searches and crossword puzzles, and most importantly, quality time with her family.

She will be missed by many. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Kim) Lykowski and Charyl (Dan) Schaumburg; grandchildren, Jessica (Sean) Kolodziej, Allyson (Sean) Dunn, Brittany (Mason Lyons) Schaumburg, Alexis, Tommy III, Zachary, and Emily Lykowski, as well as Justin, Tyler, and Samantha Anderson; she is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Jack and Owen Dunn, Layton Kolodziej, and Kayana Anderson. She is predeceased by her parents.

Judith's visitation will be from 4:00-6:45 pm on Tuesday, May 30th at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008. A time of open sharing will be at 6:45 for those who may have a word to share in memory of Judith.
