Judith A. "Judy" Hudson, 63, of Belvidere, passed away on Wednesday, October 08, 2008 surrounded by her family. A daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend was lost to a short courageous battle with cancer. During her final weeks, her children and their spouses became her caregiver. Friends supported the family through visits and prayers. She was born March 25, 1945 in Janesville, Wi. to Kenneth and Hazel Malvitz. She graduated from Whitewater High School class of 1963 and married her high school sweetheart, William L. Hudson, Jr. on February 22, 1964 in Whitewater, Wi. Her main purpose in life was to love and enjoy time with her family. Judy enjoyed watching and supporting her sons in their sporting events. Upon retirement, Judy and her husband spent time traveling, enjoying the outdoors, playing cards and visiting friends they made while traveling. Judy's grandchildren were the joy of her life. She enjoyed every minute spent with them. Judy is survived by husband, William Hudson, Jr. of Belvidere; her sons, Todd (Tricia) of Belvidere, Tim (Kim) of Rockton, and Troy (Stacey) of Belvidere. Her angels, Tanner, Tyler, Caleb, Madison, Ellianna, Cati and Mat. Her mother, Hazel Malvitz, of Fort Atkinson, Wi.; a brother, Dale (Linda) Malvitz of Elkhorn, Wi. and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many special friends. Judy was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Malvitz, a brother, Donald Smith and son, Travis Hudson. A special thank you to the team at Hospice Care of America.
