Judith A. Free age 63 of Rockford, IL and a life long area resident died Sunday morning, June 5, 2005 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Judy was born October 10, 1941 in Belvidere, Illinois the daughter of Hilton B. and Marjorie A. (Ellis) Jones. She married Mickey M. Free on March 9, 1984 in Belvidere, Illinois, he predeceased her on May 28, 2005. Judy worked for the Belvidere Clinic from 1962 to 1972 in the pharmacy and was a nurse at Belvidere Junior High School from 1972 to 1975. From 1975 to 1983, she worked for the Boone County Sheriff's Department and from 1983 until June 1, 2005 she worked for the Department of Children and Family Services. Survivors include her mother, Marge Jones; children, Paula (Pete) Culvey of Caledonia, IL, Charles (Jeannette) Pollnow of Medford, WI, Nikki (Jovon) Burrell of Belvidere, IL, LeeAnne (Tony) Bertino of Caledonia, IL, Rikki (John) Rockey of Rock City, IL; grandchildren, Morgan and Lindsey Culvey, Cazzandra and Jenson Pollnow; Stefan Stephens, Cody Fowler, Case Rockey, L'Nea Lancaster; brother Alan (Patricia) Jones of Belvidere, IL; sister, Susan (Ray) Nicholls of Paducah, KY; best friends, Jean and Ken Anderson and Mickey and Judy's dog Kobi.Judy is predeceased by her father.
