Juanita N. Carlson, 88, of Belvidere, died Sunday, June 8, 2014 in Northwoods Care Center following a short illness. Born February 26, 1926 in Rockford, Illinois; the daughter of William and Ethel (Lindquist) Miller. Nita married Evert G. Carlson in Rockford on September 20, 1947. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Rockford and County Line Grange. Nita enjoyed baking and baseball. She supported the Rockford Peaches and Chicago Cubs. Nita is survived by 3 daughters, Pam Ogren; Sheryl (Stevenson) Wylde and Terrie (Peter) Pyszka all of Belvidere; 11 grandchildren, Michael (Allisa) Pyszka, Laura (Lloyd) Meyers, Tim Rhodes, Tori Ogren, Steven (Katie) Wylde, Tiffany Ogren, Sarah (Robert) Flores, Ted Ogren, Andrea (Patrick) Stein, Tag (Megan) Ogren, and Thad (Chelsea) Ogren; 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sisters. A special thanks to the staff of Northwoods Care Center and Dr. Malaker for their care.

A Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 12, 2014 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel 218 W.
