Juanita Reyes Bushert, 70,of
Cross Plains, WI, passed away after a long illness on July 19, 2019 at Agrace
Hospice and Palliative Care in Fitchburg, WI. She was born on May 18, 1949 to
Lorenzo M. Reyes, Sr. and Neftali (Cervantes) Reyes in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas,
Mexico. She was a 1969 graduate of Harvard High School, later moving to
Richland Center, WI. While working briefly as a nurse's aide, she met and
married her loving husband of 46 years, James Bushert, on April 27, 1974 in
Hartland, Illinois. Juanita's successful businesses didn't stop her from
enjoying God's creation. She hiked, gardened and delighted in baby animals. She
was a member of the Abundant Grace Church as a certified pastor (Deaconess).
The family cherishes memories of visiting and catching up while she trimmed,
cut or styled hair using beautician skills acquired in her youth.

Juanita will be greatly missed by
her husband, Jim; her brothers and sisters,Arturo Reyes, Lorenzo Reyes
Jr., Ruben (Melodie) Reyes, Edmundo (Ellen) Reyes, Adan (Gloria) Reyes, Noe
Reyes, Gerardo Reyes, William (Melissa) Reyes, Eduardo (Nanette) Reyes, Neftali
C. (Steve) Seagraves, Sandra (John) Stevens and Isidora (Carl) Spotz; 34 nieces
& nephews: 48 great nieces and nephews & 20 great-great nieces &
nephews; other survivors include many family and friends in California, Ohio, Washington,
Iowa, Mexico, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her
parents.

The family is in deep gratitude for the caregivers at Agrace Hospice.

A funeral ceremony will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services.
