Juan Paulino, 23, of Belvidere, IL, died September 18, 2025, in Belvidere. He was born May 5, 2002, in Hoffman Estates, IL, son to Ricardo Paulino Hernandez and Ma Guadalupe Contreras- Lozano. Juan attended elementary and middle school in Carpentersville, IL and graduated from South Elgin High School.  He then attended college and was employed at Green IX Pest Control. He also attended St. James Church and loved sports especially soccer. He had a love for cars and certainly for his family and friends. He was very family oriented and detailed in everything he accomplished.  He will be dearly missed.

Juan is loved by his parents, Paulino and Ma; brother, Ricardo Paulino and sister, Jacziry Paulino; and many people who loved him.

He is preceded in death by grandparents on his mother's side, Ma De Jesus Lozano and Silvino Contreas; and father's side, Severina Hernandez and Ezequiel Paulino.

Juan's visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2024, 218 W Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008. A funeral mass will be at 12 p.m., Friday, September 26, 2025, at St. James Church, 402 Church Street in Belvidere. Father Timothy Mulcahey will officiate. Burial to follow at Belvidere Cemetery.
