Josmar González Pizano, 7, peacefully passed surrounded by his family on Monday, June 5th, 2023. He was born April 22nd, 2016, in Rockford, IL to Uriel González-Moran and Rocio (Pizano). He attended Washington Academy where he recently completed the 1st grade. Josmar was a wonderful soccer player and was in the Zamora International Soccer League. He also enjoyed music and video games as well.

He is survived by his father, Uriel; mother, Rocio; brother, Jeremy Garcia; sister, Perla González; grandparents, Perla González, Felipe Romero, and Grancisca Moran; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded by his grandfathers, Sosimo González and Pedro Pizano.

Josmar's visitation and funeral will be at the Iglesia Principe De Paz (Prince of Peace Church), located at 501 Bellwood Dr., Belvidere, IL 61008. His visitation will be on Friday, June 16th, from 4pm - 8pm and Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 17th at 10am. Pastor George Garcia will be officiating.
