Joseph Floyd Schoepski Sr., 56, of Poplar Grove, IL died Saturday evening, March 4, 2017. Joseph was born April 8, 1960 in Belvidere, son of Jerry and Marilyn (Dimond) Schoepski. Joseph worked as a material handler for Syncreon and formerly with Chrysler Corporation. Joseph was a member of the UAW since 1995. He had a love for the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and golf. Most of all, he adored his children, grandchildren and family.

Joseph is loved and will be missed by his children, Jennifer Gober, Joseph Schoepski, Jr., Jerod Schoepski; grandchildren, Cristopher Gober, Araina Gober, and Camryn Schoepski; brother, John (Dee) Schoepski and beloved dog, Casey.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, and his great-grandmother, Eleanor Dimond.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, Il with Diann Anderson, Celebrant officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
