Joseph M. Herdzina, 64, of Elgin IL., passed away June 28, 2023. He was born on May 19, 1959 in Chicago, IL. The son of Delores (Paquin) and Frank Herdzina Jr. Joseph was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He was a devoted fan of the Chicago Bears football and the Chicago Cubs baseball. Joseph loved to relax and listen to classic Rock N Roll. Joseph had the amazing ability to remember facts and scores about his favorite sports teams and bands that went back decades. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his siblings; Steve (Teri) Herdzina, Frank (Suzy) Herdzina, and Lori (John) Satterlee, nieces and nephews; Jason (Courtney) Herdzina, Aaron (Jen) Herdzina, Bethany (Elliot) Wickenden, Allison (Pete) Wallenhorst, Ashley (Ben Cowell) Satterlee, and Britney Satterlee. He is also survived by numerous cousins and extended family whom he loved dearly.

He is predeceased by his parents; Delores and Frank Herdzina Jr.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Joseph's graveside service will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 11am at Belvidere Cemetery.
