Joseph K. Cornwell, 65 "Joe the Barber" On Saturday November, 3, 2007, after a brief illness, Joe met his creator in Heaven. Joe was born on April 11, 1942 to Kenneth and Delores (Burr) Cornwell. He was raised in Garden Prairie, IL by his loving Grandparents Jesse and Minnie (Schwebke) Cornwell. Joe was given the nickname "Joe the Barber" after graduating Barber School and opening his own barber shop in Downtown Belvidere. He was the barber well known for "the best flat top in town. "Joe was a die-hard Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packer Fan. Joe was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing trips north each summer, loved wood-working on custom projects for family and friends, and a huge sports fanatic. Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents Jesse and Minnie Cornwell, father Kenneth Cornwell, step-father Wadding Keating, and mother Delores (Burr) Keating. He is survived by wife, Bonnie, 3 daughters Nancy (Mike) Jackson, Danielle Cornwell, and Charmaine Gritzmacher, 2 sons Reid (Suzi) Bullard and Michael Bullard, one step son Gordy (Aimee) Kasper, 6 grandsons Zachary Bullard, Dalton Bullard, Joshua Bullard, Jeremy Bullard, Jordy Hoium and Colton Gritzmacher, 6 granddaughters Stephanie Jackson, Brittanie Jackson, Kailah Ballard, Kenzie Hoium, Molly Kasper and Payton Kasper, and 2 great-granddaughters Ruthie Williams and Khloe Bullard, two brothers Richard (Gayle) Keating and Steve Keating, and 2 sisters Jeannie (Jim) Davidson and Jackie (Ray) Reed, 2 special nephews that were his biggest fishing buddies Sean (Susie) Keating and Keith Keating and several other nieces and nephews.
