Jonnie Soto, 59, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 10, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 30, 1957 in Chicago, IL, son of Epifano and Guadalupe (Caban) Soto. He is a son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather and friend to so many. So many people love him so much. He loves to garden and grow beans, tomatoes, jalapenos, green peppers, egg plants and a few others. He loved history and Sy Fy, those two channels were his favorite for sure. Jonnie loved woodworking with all the sanding and staining to make the wood so beautiful. He loved loud motorcycles, it definitely takes courage to ride.

Jonnie is loved and missed by his children, Juan Angel (Anamaria) Soto and Melissa (Kyle) Rehnberg; grandchildren, Anamaria Angel Soto, Reynaldo Zambrano III, Aaron Flores, and Sofia Rehnberg; siblings, Aida (Victor) Barrientos, Noelia (Ray) Quintanilla, Milta (Julio) Arocho, Sol Angel (Arturo) Melendez, Michael (Noelia) Soto, Epifano Soto, Jr., and Steve (Lydia) Soto. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Noel Soto.
