Belvidere, IllinoisJonah Patrick Williams, 14, of Belvidere, IL died Thursday afternoon, January 9, 2014 at Swedish American Hospital, Belvidere after a sudden illness. Jonah was born April 22, 1999 in Elgin, IL the son of Thomas H. and Regina M. (Herrmann) Williams. Jonah was a freshman at Belvidere High School where he was a member of the Belvidere High School Band playing the baritone trombone and clarinet. Jonah was also passionate about writing music. He was baptized at Heartland Community Church in 2010.Jonah is loved and will be missed by his parents Thomas and Regina; sister, Nicole (Caleb) Long of Omaha, NE; brother, Noah Williams of Belvidere; nephews Hunter and Sage Long; niece, Cyan Long; grandparents Frank and Regina Herrmann of Belvidere, Harold and Anna Williams of Mountain Home Arkansas; uncles, Patrick Herrmann of Rockford, Jim Williams of Machesney Park, IL; aunt Linda (Daniel) Pierce of Yellville, Arkansas; cousins. Jonah is preceded in death by his sister Megan Williams.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be given in care of Alpine Bank for Belvidere High School Band in Jonah's memory.
