John "Bud" Wirth III, 63, of Belvidere, IL passed away on November 13, 2022, surrounded by his family. Bud was born on July 16, 1959 in Belvidere, IL at St. Joseph Hospital the son of John L. and Dorothy (Alsup) Wirth, Jr. He worked as a roofer for many years. Bud was an avid Arizona Cardinals Football fan and enjoyed playing baseball. He liked to take trips to the Casino to play slots. Bud was a member of the local VFW. Most of all he cherished spending time with his family and friends.

Bud is survived by his mother, Dorothy Wirth of Belvidere; two siblings, Nancy (Alan) Fischer of Belvidere and Dennis (Sherri) Wirth of Tucson, AZ; nieces and nephews, Tonya (Eric) Aarli, Jeremy (Denise) Boleyn, Nicholas (Marissa) Wirth, Jordan (Nick) Woodard; along with numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Wirth, Jr.

A visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service starting at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008. Reverend Keith Manley from Grace Family Church to officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Garden of Memories, 9800 IL-76, Belvidere, IL 61008.
