John H. Miller, 65, of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 10, 2015 in Belvidere, IL following a valiant fight against cancer that was diagnosed in December, 2012. John was born September 2, 1949 in Baraboo, WI, son of Melvin A. Miller and Margaret Miller (Pings). John attended St. Aloyisius Elementary School in Sauk Prairie, WI and St. Bernard Elementary School in Madison, WI. He also attended Madison East High School and the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He worked 44 years as a key account representative for Bunzl USA, retiring on December 31, 2014. John enjoyed spending time with family, his golf buddies, hiking, softball, reading, and mini-trips with his wife, Doris in their BMW Z3 convertible. John and Doris enjoyed the preparation of their retirement home at River Landing in Wallace, NC.

John is survived by his loving wife, Doris D. Miller; caring children and grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Ronald and David in the Madison, WI area.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Rev. Scott Stolberg officiating. Visitation will take place at 3:00 P.M., until the time of the service. Burial will take place at a later date in Wallace, NC.
