Garden Prairie, ILJohn F. Kemp, 22, of Garden Prairie, IL and formerly of Poplar Grove, died Saturday morning August 25, 2012 from injuries received in an automobile accident. John was born January 24, 1990 in Rockford, IL the son of Jack T. and Debora D. (Deeter) Kemp. John graduated from Belvidere High School class of 2008 and attended Rock Valley College and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. John was the owner of Midwest Automotive and Diesel Machining, and also worked with his father at ITTCS, Inc. John had a smile that lit up the room and had more best friends than you could count. Building cars was John's passion. John also enjoyed golfing, hunting and being outdoors.John is loved and will be missed by his parents Jack and Debora Kemp of Poplar Grove; sister Kira (Ryne Bastyr) Kemp of Tempe, AZ; grandmothers Marilyn Kemp Hanson and Loretta Hagan both of Belvidere; uncles Stuart (Julie) Kemp, Dudley (Sue) Hagan, Dwight (Denese) Hagan all of Belvidere; cousins and many friends. John is predeceased by his grandfathers John M. Kemp and Donal D. Deeter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given in care of the family.
