John Anthony Keegan, 60, of Belvidere IL, passed away on September 27, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born on August 14, 1963 in Rockford, IL. The son of William and Margery (Bolz) Keegan. John loved kids and could be counted to attend as many of his grandkids and many nieces or nephews sports games as he could. Family was important and he made sure to keep everyone connected. His prized possession was his 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass that he loved to do burnouts in. He was a lifelong Bears fan, win or lose. He also enjoyed collecting rare coins. He was always the jokester and loved to make you smile. His joy will be missed by many.

He is survived by his daughter, Katrena (Tyler) Seeley; grandchildren, Kylie, Carsen, Autumn and Brayden. His partner Kim Taulbee and brothers Greg and Brian. He is predeceased by his father William, Sr; mother Margery; brothers, Phillip, William, Terry, Joseph, Roger and Kelly. The family we be holding a private service to pay their respects.
