John Clifford Chamberlin, 55, of Belvidere, IL passed away, March 22, 2022, at his Belvidere home. John was born September 13, 1966 in Belvidere, IL the son of Michael and Penny (Eckhardt) Chamberlin. John was a graduate of Belvidere High School and started his auto body career joining his father, owner of Chamberlin Auto Body. He was known for his adoration of softball, eventually bringing his younger brother Robb into the game.  After his playing days were behind him, he enjoyed time spent watching his nephews play ball.

He will be missed by his loving family, including his brother Robb (Lindsey) Chamberlin; aunts Ruth Ann Taylor, Carol Rasmussen, Dona Schwedersky, Donna Eckhardt; uncle Jack Chamberlin; nephews Colton, Coby, Maddox and Easton and niece Haley (Josh) Cass and their children Ryker and Hadlee; several cousins and long time friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Penny Chamberlin, uncles Elmer Eckhardt, and Bill Eckhardt.
