John Thomas Hyland, 92, of River Falls, WI, formerly of Eagle River, WI and Dixon and Belvidere, IL died Tuesday afternoon, December 1, 2009 in River Falls, WI. John was born in Boone County, IL, the son of T. Samuel and Mary A. (Behling) Hyland on March 28, 1917. He married Marjorie Lewis on March 25, 1939 in Belvidere. John was an Engineer & Training Supervisor for Commonwealth Edison at the Dixon Power Station, with service of 42 years.John is survived by two sons, John L. (Joan) Hyland, River Falls, WI and Samuel Hyland, Rock Falls, IL.; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. John is predeceased by his parents; wife; sister, Ettie Peters and three brothers, Herman, Arthur and James Hyland.
