John Charles Coffey, 74, of Madison, WI, died peacefully in Belvidere, IL, December 21, 2025. He was born September 26, 1951, son to Marv and Marion (Savee) Coffey in Madison. John graduated from high school and became a chef working in the hospitality and catering industry for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, often hitting the town for breakfast once a month with fellow acquaintances. He loved to sunbathe and travel to Nashville. John would do anything for family in need. He lit up the room and enjoyed talking with everyone! He will be missed.
John is loved and missed by his children, Tammy (Paul) Stillion, Tina (Greg) Mrozz, Nikki Coffey, Annie (Tom) Edwards; brothers, Michael and Steven; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren..

He is preceded in death by his parents.
