John M. Bauch, 62, of Belvidere, IL, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 in his home after a 7 month battle with cancer. John was born April 30, 1953 in Chicago, IL, son of John and Mary Bauch. He graduated from Gage Park High School in 1971. John married his best friend Kathleen Bauer July 22, 2000 in Elgin, IL. John proudly served our country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was an avid Chicago White Sox fan, loved the Beatles, oldies music and Lionel Trains.

John is loved and will be missed by his wife, Kathleen; brother Paul Bauch and fur babies, Precious and Tessa. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother George Bauch.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., December 16, 2015 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008 with Chaplin Ed Greenfield officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00-1:00 p.m., December 16, 2015 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to the family.
