Joel T. Grosch, 45, of Rockford, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in his home. He was born February 6, 1972 in Belvidere, IL, the son of Timothy and Christine (Gustafson) Grosch. Joel graduated from Honnonegah High School. He was a jack of all trades, helping out doing odd jobs. Joel was a huge music lover, and was listening to music every chance he had. He was a kind and gentle soul, and kids and animals always gravitated to him.

Joel is loved and missed by his mother, Christine Grosch of Rockford; his father, Timothy (Sharon) Grosch of Roscoe, his brother, Jeffrey (Carrie) Grosch of Simpsonville, KY; aunt, Nancy (Nick) Altamore of Rockford; uncles, Dan (Kathy) Gustafson of Belvidere, and Jack Sinclair of CA; as well as numerous cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, aunt Donna Thayer, and cousin, Heather Gustafson.

The family has requested that everyone dress casually.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008.
