Joan Sherman, 78, passed away on November 29, 2016. She was born on October 6, 1938, on a farm in Blain, Wisconsin. She attended Almond Wisconsin High School. On February 7, 1959, she married Edward (Ted) Sherman, Joan was employed and retired from the U.S. Postal Office in Rockford Ill. Joan Absolutely loved her job at the post office. She is survived by her husband, Ted; children, Troy (Joyce) Sherman, Traci (Jason) Bender; granddaughter, Jeannine Sherman; great grandson Arthur Sherman all of whom she loved very much.

Joan was very devoted to her church and God. The family would like to thank Illinois Hospice and all of her many friends for all the support.
