Jimmy E.
Woodard, 82, of Belvidere, Illinois, passed away on June 10, 2019 in Belvidere.
Born May 11, 1937 to Troy and Hattie (Glover) Woodard in Bailey, North Carolina.
Jimmy was an Army veteran who had passions for flying and fixing computers. He worked
as a flight crew planner for United Airlines until retirement. Jimmy flew
planes for paratroopers during his time of service in Korea. He also flew
banners, crop dusted, and gave flight lessons to aspiring pilots.

Jimmy is
loved and will be missed by his daughters, Kimberly and Wendy Woodard; siblings,
Marjorie Watson, Herbert Woodard, Edythe Joyner, and Bobby Woodard; grandchildren,
Leighann, Kara, Dakota, Abbigale "Ash", Wyatt, Dustin, and Ryan;
great-grandchildren, Jaden, Ricky, and Weston; and was a celebrated uncle to
many nieces and nephews that adored him.

He is
preceded in death by his parents; and numerous siblings.

A celebration of life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Kim's home. Any flowers may be delivered to Kim's house as well. Memorials in Jimmy's name may be made out to the Woodard family and sent to Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL, 61008, to be forwarded to the family.
