Jerry D. Vance, 66, of Salem, Missouri, died peacefully July 12, 2020 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born January 22, 1954 in Salem, Missouri, son to Arnold and Daisy (Quick) Vance. He married the love of his life, Viola DeLeon on June 17, 1972 in Belvidere.

Jerry worked at Rockford Fasteners Inc. in Rockford, IL as a Foreman for many years. He loved hunting, fishing and cooking and especially loved hosting BBQ's with friends and family.

Jerry will be loved and missed by his wife, Viola; children, Jennifer (Ron) Cash, Jessica (Bryan) Martin and Jeremy (Rachael) Vance; brothers, Arnold "Sonny" and Bob Vance; grandchildren, Celyna, Anthony and Ronald Cash, Alex Martin, Braxton Williams, Gemma, Greyson and Christian Vance; great grandchildren, Natalia, Novah, Hailey, Astred and Declan; and numerous other in-laws, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Daniel, Clayton, Arvil, Gary, John, Jim, Carl, Violet and Mary.

A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008. A funeral ceremony will be private. Deacon Armando will officiate. Memorials in Jerry's honor can be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital and Haven House. Please see Jennifer for donations made by check for Haven House.
