Jerry Sellers, 82, of Belvidere, IL passed away March 10, 2015. He was born July 6, 1932 in Belvidere, IL to Barney and Helen (Hoag) Sellers. Jerry married his wife Marion in 1951 in Belvidere, IL. He graduated Belvidere High School in 1950. Jerry worked for Standard Oil for 27 years. He was on the board for the town of Dunkirk for 20 years and was chairman of the board for 10 of those years. Jerry proudly served his country with the Navy. Jerry was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He was an avid Badgers and Chicago Bears fan, golfer and fisherman.

Jerry will be missed by his children; Jim (Marilee) Sellers, Lynn Ann (David) LaBuy, Ted (Julie) Sellers; sister Merry Strandberg; sister in-law, Shirley Martin; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Jerry is predeceased in death by his wife, Marion; daughter Janet; brother, Sonny Sellers; sister, Carol Muldoon.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am., Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL.
