Jerry Lynn Cunningham, 60, of Belvidere, IL, passed away March 25, 2024. He was born on July 25, 1963 in Sterling, IL, the son of Judith (McKean) and Rudolph Cunningham. Jerry was a deeply devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Jerry graduated from Belvidere Highschool, and went on to continue his education at Rock Valley College automotive program. He worked at Jack Wolf Chevrolet, Napa, and Planet Fitness in maintenance.

In 2015 he met the love of his life, Julie. They shared 10 years together. Jerry was kind and considerate and had a great sense of humor.

He was a member of the Belvidere car club, and enjoyed going to dragster races in Byron. Jerry loved working on his '72 Chevelle. He was extremely mechanically inclined and knowledgeable about car maintenance. Jerry was also an avid fitness enthusiast.

Jerry will be greatly missed and remembered for his kind heart, and dedication to his family.

He is survived by his wife, Julie Wiegand, daughter, Michelle Cunningham; son, Michael (Hollie) Cunningham; mother, Judith Cunningham; stepchildren, Zachary Wiegand, Josh (Ana) Wiegand, Rebecca (Isaac) Laws Parisi; siblings, Terry Cunningham and Sue (Anthony) Del Fiacco, as well as his grandchildren, Braylee, Adeley, Collin, Zeva, Stephen, Isaac, and Jesse; nieces Madalyn, Hailee, and Gabrielle. He is also survived by extended family and close friends whom he loved dearly.

He is predeceased by his father, Rudolph Cunningham; brother, Rudolph Jr.; sister, Sandra Kay; nephew, Bradlee,  as well as aunts and uncles and extended family.

Jerry's visitation will be Friday, April 5th between the hours of 2-4pm at Anderson Funeral Home. Located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere, IL 61008. Funeral Service to follow at 4pm.
