Jerald Lott, 71, of La Salle, formerly of Belvidere,  died peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2016. He was born July 30, 1944 in Murphysboro, Illinois; the son of Arthur and Elsie (Hawk) Lott. Jerald proudly served our country with the Army. He was an avid Cardinals fan, a wonderful cook and enjoyed photography. Most important to Jerald was his family, which he adored spending time with.

Jerald is loved and will be missed by his siblings, Doris Bowers, Frances DiVerdi, Larry (Debbie) Lott, Lyle (Debbie) Lott and Lila (David) Kline, 19 nieces and nephews, 33 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great nephew.

Jerald is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sula; brother-in-law's, Wayne Bowers, Dale Brick, Al DiVerdi and nephew, Mark Lott.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2016 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere IL, 61008 with Rev. Tom Hay officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Belvidere Cemetery.
