Jennings
W. Anderson, 98, of Poplar Grove, IL., died on April 12, 2019 in Rockford, IL.
He was born to Gust and Anna (Nelson) Anderson on June 10, 1920 in Rockford,
IL. Jennings married the love of his life, Rose Anderson, on June 12, 1948 in Belvidere,
IL.

Jennings farmed
in Cherry Valley, IL, Capron, IL, and Mineral Point, WI. He later retired to
Poplar Grove where he enjoyed recording family history and making wood crafts.

He
is survived by his children, Shirley (Don) Ahrens of Junction, IL and Paul
(Barb) Anderson of Poplar Grove, IL; 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren;
and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

He
is preceded in death by his wife, Rose in 2000; his parents; two infant
daughters, Diane in 1949 and Linnea in 1955; great-granddaughter, Brittany
Wakeley; and best friend, Dorothy Houston in 2014.

A
graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at
Arlington Memorial Park, 6202 Charles St, Rockford, IL, 61108. Rev. Scott
Nellis to officiate. Memorial contributions may be made out to Evangelical
