Jeffrey J. Mucha, 66, of Roscoe, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in O.S.F. St. Anthony Medical Center following a sudden illness, He was born January 21, 1947 in Kankakee, Illinois; the son of John and Julia (Hughes) Mucha. Jeff has lived in the Rockford area for the past 62 years, coming here from Kankakee. He was married to Patricia G. Carlson in Iron River, Michigan on May 15, 1971. Jeff was an Accountant and Financial Advisor with the Mucha Group, Inc. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Jeff was an avid sports fan who supported the University of Michigan, football, Indiana University, basketball and the Cubs. Jeff graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Marketing as well as receiving a M.S. in Marketing from University of Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Pat of Roscoe; a son, Aaron Mucha, Las Vegas, NV and brother-in-law, David Carlson, Iron River, MI. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents.
